Russell Lieberman
Russell founded Collect Alpha in 2025 to provide data consulting services to auction houses, marketplaces, investors and more in the global collectibles industry.
Prior to founding Collect Alpha, Russell founded Altan Insights in 2020. The venture-backed data and research company provided industry-leading analysis on the collectibles market and was widely cited by outlets such as Axios, Bloomberg, Reuters, Business Insider, and more.
Prior to founding Altan Insights he spent a decade working with hedge funds and broker dealers while at Wall Street financial technology firms Bloomberg and REDI (acquired by Reuters). He is an avid collector, mostly of sports cards and sports memorabilia. Russell holds an MBA from NYU Stern.
Bradley Calleja
Bradley is a certified personal-property appraiser and ISA member, specializing in USPAP-compliant appraisals of sports memorabilia, fine art, and collectibles. He has valued the largest private Michael Jordan collection, art from the Andy Warhol museum, Wayne Rooney’s debut cleats, and 200+ items displayed in U.S. sports halls of fame.
Previously, he worked in finance at Federated Hermes and New Edge Securities before joining Altan Insights as a research analyst, producing data-driven reports that established the firm as a leader in alternative assets.
Bradley is also an economics professor at Butler Community College and member of the American Economic Association, focusing on personal property markets and the growing impact of alternative investments.
